i'd really love to have a thriving garden, but i have been unmotivated to do anything more than a few house plants or herbs seeing as we have been living temporarily in one place to the next. i keep saying 'one day', but really - when is 'one day'? so again, i learn a valuable lesson from my small one. she came home from granni's house a few months ago with planted seeds in a polystyrene box. she has watered and cared for them lovingly and proudly picked her first crop this weekend!
the carrots were cut up with a fairy knife and eaten on a miniature plate, and the beetroot went into a yummy juice!
yeah, i pretty much think this child is amazing :)
(ps - i read ivy all your comments on her knitting the other night, she was beaming from head to toe, so thankyou! she will ask her craft teacher this week for the knitting patterns...and promises to have a duck finished by the end of the week. wowza!)
