Camping!!! I remember my Dad (who is an art professor) teaching us to collect the natural clay in the earth, pull out all the debris and form it into small bowls. He then fired them in the camp fire for us. Something I will never forget!

its so hard to pick ONE favorite childhood memory... we went to door county in wisconsin a few summers in a row with my grandparents- walking around those little towns, hiking, and beaches- the best memories.

Visiting with my grandparents (my dad's parents). We didn't get to see them very often since we lived 4.5-5 hrs away. One summer we had a family gathering while visiting them and everyone was just chatting and eating. All of a sudden there was watermelon seeds flying and who was the ones that started it? The Grandparents..totally expected of the grandfather but surprised of the grandma doing this, she was usually the serious one :) A memory that i will never forget!!

A favourite childhood memory, let's see... whenever my brother had to babysit me he would drag the tv into the dining room so we could watch Power Rangers while eating copious amounts of chicken nuggets for supper! <3

One of my favorite memories is when we could go to my grandmothers house several states away each summer for two weeks. We would get to be with my aunts and uncles and cousins. We had so much fun.

Sleeping in my dads arms, for sure

walking to my nana's house every friday to have lunch with her. she always used to have a big cooked lunch ready for me and then we would sit down in front of the tv and watch young & the restless!!

Having a sleep over at my Granny's house and Grandad would make me toast for breakfast (cut into little soldiers) and orange juice and Granny and I would eat it in bed. Since my grandparents died when I was only 5 it is really my only memory of them so I cherish it.

Ana

Fishing with my dad and sisters. I remember people stoping to watch my dad and his 3 little daughters fishing by the river. It was fun.

My favourite memory is of my Daddy pitching me in the lake off the pier! So many giggles!! Would love to do this....for me, and for my family!!

I have an early memory (50+ years ago! )of my grandfather taking me and my brothers to the woods at this time of the year to collect leaf mould for his garden. I was reminded of this today as I stopped the car to check where I was supposed to be going. There was a break in a wall with a huge pile of gorgeous copper coloured leaves spilling onto the road. I knew that right at the bottom of that pile there would be a beautiful pile of leaf mould! thanks for this lovely giveaway Emily x

My favorite childhood memories revolve around my pets, dogs, cats and horses ;)

Going on big "bushwhacking adventures" (there was actually a trail) through some woods in my neighborhood with my best neighbor/friend. :)

 Still Lily

My older sister used to hide 'treasures' in these rock caverns by the beach and i would go searching for them...thinking back it might have been a little dangerous, but it was so fun!

Sally

funfairs...whizzing down a helter skelter on a little mat, thinking it was very daring...swinging in a "swing boat" til my brother was sick...fairy floss, coconut shies..they all seemed so magical to a little person.

Deborah Klepac

The christmas my best friend and I got our Mary Poppins dolls! We had dress' alike, too. Or maybe swimming my horse in the Missouri river...

barbara

Sounds wonderful, and something that I am always trying to do for my family as the "family record keeper", I'd love to learn the trick from her trained eye!

What a lovely giveaway. My favourite memory was summer! I'm sure it never rained in the UK in summer when I was little. We played out all day every day!

A favorite memory of mine was playing school with my younger brother. Of course, I always wanted to be the teacher and give him "homework" to do, so I bribed him with candy from my stash.

Thanks for the giveaway; it'd be awesome to win!

KimP

one of my favorite memories was getting ice cream every sunday at a dairy farm near my house...my favorite was bubble gum. or mint chocolate chip. or black raspberry. yeah, i guess it depended on the day :) YUM.
