"wanna ride blue bike, wanna ride BLUE BIKE" can be heard here many, many times a day. the boy loves his bike! he zooms around the house on it, and on days when we can get away without mittens (oh how he hates mittens) we go outside. its the funniest thing ever, this oompa-loompa in all his bundled layers, zipping along the road on such a wee bike.
daring nature wired into him, the frozen lake was too tempting to miss a ride on. slippery, and admittedly "scawy", we stayed close to the edge until the muddy path lured him back.
and then i lured him in for a snuggle.
he is a boof, but he is my boof and i love him!
(banjo's bike is a balance bike - ie no pedals which is so great for little people. my brother sam rides for specialized and got us this bike, incase you were wondering!)

You have the most adorable Oompa Loompa Em! And what a cool bike -- hadn't noticed the lack of pedals until you mentioned it. XO

I loooved things that had my name on them when I was growing up so I am always looking out for them for other people. Here is a link to the Banjo Blue books xo

He is a little deamon on that bike! Good to see that there is still something that scares him. Still reckon it's worth investing in a helmet....

Very cool balance bike. I admit to being a complete failure with my kids and bikes. None of them can ride a two wheeler. They've just never gotten the balance. That being said, I love the idea of a balance bike! Banjo is a sweetie pie and I could kiss those cheeks all day long!
