well, real life is beginning i guess. mick left ivy and i to go to work today - after being around each other all day every day for the past few months it's a bit lonely! i know i will feel better when we get a place to live and i have my own 'stuff' back...as in my scrapbook stuff. i cranked out my travelling studio and have it all spread out on the floor here in the guesthouse in an attempt to make a birthday card for my mum...all i ended up doing was helping ivy make her card (mum, i hope you like stickers is all i can say!), and feeling depressed about not having my own place!
at least i have the internet to amuse myself with, and emails and blogs...speaking of which - wonders never cease! the divine miss rebecca brown - soulsister, poet and woman with a saying for everything has started a BLOG (my nagging seems to have paid off). this woman is full of amazing advice, tips, tricks...and did i mention SAYINGS for everything? be sure to tune in here for daily wisdom and amusement.
the good news is - i found a great place to buy groceries, and if we do get into the university housing (which is what we have been praying and waiting for), it will be right accross the road! trader joes is my kind of store - with organic goodies and funny signs all around the store. i am drowning my sorrows in spicy, smoky peach salsa and corn chips from there as i type!
till next time!
xox
yum for trader joes!
I'm sure your mother Loooooooves stickers. Especially if Ivy's wee hands have touched them!
Thanks for the blog tip!!

Love Trader Joe's! See...little things-big happy! Thanks for the e-mail I was thrilled to get it. you are so sweet. I found your blog back in the fall on Lizzy's blog (I met her in Oct. taking the "SHE" track with Heidi Swapp. it was amazing, loved lizzy and her so cool jewelry.love my "she" ring she made)Anyway that is how I found you and I added you to my favortite list-you stuff is great! Can't wait till the books come out! (When you talk to Liz-tell her Snoopy from CKU-A says Hi!)
Try (I'll say try cuz it's not as easy as it sounds) to not get too down. It's a huge change and it just takes time to adjust. Be proud of yourself for making a big move!
Take it easy!
