Hi Em! I finally completed week #1. I am proud... :o)

I'm so glad that I found this challenge. I've been struggling with a BOM and this is the perfect alternative...something I can get my brain around. I'm in! Here's my week 3 card:

this is the most fun i have had in a long time...love the work on your sites...so inspiring.

I am enjoying this so much and I have seen some stunning work.

I've finished my week 3 card (it's on my blog).....pretty much just paint on this one and it felt great to be a bit creative with them again.

I have Week 2's card made, Intuition is Power...my journaling (on the back) is about how I've learned to listen to my intuition and instincts with regard to parenting:

Here's my Wk3 effort.....

Can't wait for the next one!

Love your challenge :)
Now I have posted my card for this week on my blog.

Here are 2 of my Deck of me card!!!

I poped in later....

YAY! Number 4 is coming!!! I'm soooo excitied!

Hi Emily (and all of my "deck of me" buddies!)

I know I'm barely making this "under the wire." We're getting part of our house remodeled, so we're BUSY moving furniture. Also I'm proud to say that I went back to school. I'm trying to get the degree I should've had twenty years ago. I got into a university with honors, and "blew it" because I hated it so much. I dropped out, and am just trying to get back now. School is a lot more fun when you're an old lady, and not afraid of what everyone else thinks of you if you ask a question. LOL! SO that is where my I AM card comes from. Hopefully this will remind me of what I'm striving for when times get tough. This is not my hair or ear. I again, borrowed someone else's photo to get my point across. The overlay is by Niecey, and the graduate photo is from sxc.hu (windchime gallery) I found the little star trinket when I was walking on the sidewalk the other day, and I HAD to pick it up. You know us crafter's, we can use anything for art. LOL! Hope you all have a wonderful week!

In regards to my card above, I forgot to say that I only showed half of the face, because I'm "halfway there" by taking the step to go back!

My art journal is an art/spiritual journal and you can see some pics of what I have done so far at http://slightlysquiffy.blogspot.com/. I find it really hard to photograph my writing so if it looks "slightly squiffy" its the photo not your eyes...

I think I've caught up. Just in time for week four! Here's what I have so far: http://createdwithheartandsoul.blogspot.com/2007/01/lets-try-this-again.html

Hi Emily & Everyone, hope this finds you coming to the end of a wonderful weekend. I just finished my card for Week 3 (late AGAIN, LOL). Here is the link...

I hope you all like it.

Thanks SOO MUCH for the inspiration Emily. You really got me thinking about trying something different for my card. It was fun.

I LOVE this weeks prompt and can't wait to start playing with it.

*Emily*...Paris?! I am SOOOO JEALOUS! There are 2 places on this earth I want to go before I die (preferably while I am still you & can REALLY enjoy them) and those 2 places would be...Italy (Drop me someplace in the country and just let me wonder the entire thing!) & Paris! PLEASE share your pics and goodies from there so I can go vicariuosly through you LOL! Have a safe trip.

Have a GREAT week everyone! Can't wait to see your cards!
