ok, no fluffing around - here is this weeks card.
the prompt is: surprise!
have you been surprised lately? how do you feel about surprises? got a funny story to tell about a surprise? ever pulled a good one on someone? had a surprise party?
i covered my card with ledger paper and stamped the journalling circle to write in. added letter stickers, coloured around the edge in purple watercolour pencil then licked my finger to 'smudge' in the paint (hey, i had to improvise as i was travelling!). the exclamation mark is a post-it note from www.bobsyouruncle.com
so, surprise us this week with your creation - can't wait to browse through them all again this week as i veg out on my couch!
I'll get right on it :)
Don't envy you that long, long trip home. How hideous being on a plane all that time. Don't know how you did it, specially being pregnant..perish the thought.

hmmm. My brain is ticking. I love that hot pink exclamation point paper. Glad you'll get to veg on the couch this week. Can't wait to see you again. :)
I finally finished last week's card tonight. As a Mother's Day gift Seth made dinner and played with the girls so I could paint for a minute. It's at my blog...

Excellent prompt this week. I had a fabulous suprise this year, for my 40th birthday.
Love your card, the colours are great & that journalling in the circle looks so trendy.

I love to be on vacation, but getting there and back really wears me down - take care of yourself!
I too have had too catch up a bit, but here are my latest 3 cards. I love taking the time to play with some of my paints and things again! I dug out 3 different types I haven't used in ages.
