art journal challenge - week 20

i have never been fabulous with change. i get very attatched to things and people and ideas and have to make an effort to embrace change when it comes my way. lots of big changes going on for our little family right now, and in the upcoming months - we just spent the weekend checking out san diego where mick has a potential job offer :)

our challenge this week is: change
how do you feel about it it? what big or little changes have you made? what do you want to change? how do you deal with change?

vellum paper from paper source, label sticker from $2 shop in wellington!, letter stickers by carolee's creations, stamp is antique woodblock stamp from a friend, paint is matisse.

i have to add that i reeeallllly do not like the look of my card this week! i will put it down to some bad late night choices, but you know what - that is ok! it says what i wanted to say, and i used my new stamp for the 1st time, and it has room for my thoughts on change right now on the back. and...i am embracing that fact that i do not need to change it! ;)

Even if you dont like it, I think its quite pretty!! LOVE the colours and as long as it means something to you, then its great!!

Im not good with change, so this challenge should really give me a message to start embracing change!!

PS I just made a tin to hold all my cards - theres no way they will fit in a felt pouch!! hehehe
